UPDATE ON LEWIS!

Sue and Lewis, the guide dog, have been together now for six years! Lewis has turned out be a real asset and is loved wherever they go. He has a way of charming even those who don’t like dogs! And he certainly makes people open their wallets when collecting for Guide Dogs.

Lewis has made firm friends at Fifth Dimension, the gym in Ebley, where he has pride of place in the office, with his own bed, when Sue is working out.

Everyone at the Neighbourhood College in Coney Hill, where Sue and Rob teach a group of blind IT students each week, think he is ‘gorgeous’ and he gets taken out for a long run most lunchtimes.

Sue and Lewis are often asked to give talks on behalf of Guide Dogs and Lewis makes new friends wherever they go. He especially enjoys the visits to playgroups where he lets the little ones climb all over him!

Whilst a guide dog is not for everyone, Sue and Lewis have certainly formed a really good working partnership and Sue now goes all over the place, with Lewis guiding the way!
